In a jiffy…Another year has gone by…….!!!
Come New Years Eve and there is a festive excitement in the air. It is a time to make new resolutions with a zest to start afresh and let bygones be bygones!
The clock strikes 12 while you toast to a hope of a better tomorrow and gear up to ride new flights of fantasy!
Just after the jubilation dies down and there is nothing more to rejoice about, I feel a void difficult to describe. It is as if I have left some part of me behind and no matter what I cannot get it back!!
After all….Years will turn to decades and decades to centuries…
Nothing endures but CHANGE

I think New Years also gives an opportunity to officially hit the "Reset" button, gives people opportunities to explore new avenues, experience things they probably haven't done before. Memories are fine, but I think whats important is not to just crib/think about what has gone by, but to move ahead with the same zest you have on New Years eve.
